I want to thank you so much for this website!

It has given me the confidence to enroll in two ballet classes in the fall.
I have learned so much through your blog, especially regarding dance attire. However, I do second Cletus's suggestion about stretching and flexibility. I am 20 years old - and realize that I am going to have to work hard to get to the level of other people. Flexibility is my main concern - I want to be able to do high kicks and split jumps in the future! Is this an unrealistic goal?

Thank you so much for making this site! ive been accepted into a dance program in the Hong Kong academy of performing arts and i have to take compulsory ballet lessons...this site has really calmed down my nerves lol

I was just wondering if you could maybe do an article on stretching? and how to become for flexible? I use to be super flexible because I use to do Tae Kwon Do, but now that i've quite ive found it so hard to regain my flexibility.

Again thanks for this great site :)

Thanks for putting this site together! I took my first class last Sunday, and would like to try at least 3 classes a week. In NYC, there are plenty of drop-in classes.

I think my biggest challenge will be studying the discipline without a consistent instructor or schedule, but I'll look to your site for more advice. :)

I don't think I'll dance professionally, as you have, but I do want to make this something I'm very good at.

Take care, and thank you!

Your site looks great! I'm sure the older male dancing crowd is loving it. And thanks for including My Son Can Dance on your blog roll. I have you on mine as well. I thought I'd let you know I had some great posts from Salim Gauwloos on my blog this past week. Salim, aka Slam, is a classically trained ballet dancer who danced with Madonna and in Aida on Broadway. Now he choreographs for YAGP boys and for ballet companies! Keep up the good work here. So glad to have some more people blogging for male dancers.

Kool Website! My goal in life was to encourage more guys to try a dance class or ballet class. At my current dance studio ...there are over 40 guys in ballet! They even have a boys ballet class with over 15 guys in it!

Keep up the great work!

wow...this is a blessing theres never enough stuff for guys that love to dance. i always wanted to dance but my dads never aloowed it so i started when i was 18, but im not letting it stop me! i started dancing 4 months ago and im quitting my current school cus it feels to feminine and i dont get enough one on one attention so i was offered a scholarship tot rainf or free at a company. SOMEONE post info about summer intensives that are easier to get into and are less expensive, cus i ahve to provide all my own dance funding. thank you emmensley!
